Earlier this week TechAmerica awarded the David Packard Medal of Achievement, their highest award, to Ray Lane. It was the who’s who of Silicon Valley – here’s a review of the event.

What you may have missed is that cloud integration innovation was also recognized.

Ron Papas, general manager, Informatica Cloud, was named the winner of the 2011 Innovator Award in the Cloud Computing and E–Commerce category. Ron was selected for his leadership in developing and delivering Informatica Cloud, an award-winning, multi-tenant, cloud–based data integration service, which now processes over 20 billion transactions and runs over three million integration jobs per month.

Here’s Ron talking about the shift to cloud data integration last year.

Congratulations!
